Nomadic Nowhere is a story that follows three characters part of a mercenary group called the Bird Crew. One of the longest stories from my OCs, there are at least 7 antagonists over the span of the story. The first antagonist of the story is Sparrow, Hawk's boyfriend and one of the two behind Kestrel's recruitment into the Bird Crew after they found her on the streets. She was forced to join after they scared her and sent her tumbling into a fire, causing burn scars across the right side of her body. After finding out how mentally and physically abusive Sparrow is, Kestrel stands up to him and it nearly gets her killed until Phoenix intervenes. Sparrow is kicked from the group and they continue on until Phoenix is kidnapped. Kestrel, who got heavily injured trying to stop Phoenix's kidnapping, is thrown back into her mother's custody where she finds out both her mother and sister were behind Phoenix's kidnapping and brainwashing. She and Hawk plan to get him back which causes a fight to break out. Phoenix, Hawk, and Kestrel's mom all escape while Kestrel and her sister kill each other. However, Kestrel isn't dead and is forced to travel to a different dimension to heal due to the demon that uses her as a host. She travels through six dimensions in total, only changing dimensions when she's dying. She faces a multitude of issues through each dimension and even gains an ally in a seven year old girl named Avis.
Throughout her dimensional journey, Hawk and Phoenix are separated and struggle to find each other whilst Hawk is kept under his father's, who killed his mother as well as is incredibly abusive, care.
When they all reunite, they continue their life on the run together.
